Wedding Scripture

Wedding Scripture Suggestions

A reading from Scripture is a traditional part of wedding ceremonies.  The list below offers some selections that are particularly appropriate for a wedding or a renewal of vows ceremony.  To read a particular passage from this page, simply click on the Scripture link.

If you include a reading, you may want to consider having a good friend -- perhaps a member of the wedding party -- or someone special to both of you do the actual reading.  Some brides and grooms choose to read to each other.  And, if you like, I would be glad to read whatever you select.
